Portfolio Recruitment is a well known and respected recruitment leader in the design, advertising and creative industries. Debbie Kitson
Director

Portfolio Recruitment was established in 1996 by Director Debbie Kitson. Debbie has over 15 years recruitment experience within the advertising and creative industry. Prior to this she worked within the advertising and design industry, both in the UK and NZ. Her loves are relaxing near the beach with family and friends and travelling and discovering wonderful new places.

 

 

 

Louise Lawton
Consultant

Louise came to New Zealand for the first time 13 years ago from a wee fishing village in the Highlands of Scotland. After spending time working and traveling overseas – she has now settled in Auckland. Louise’s background is in Account Management, having worked with some of the top agencies both here and in London. She is passionate about the advertising & design industries, with a particular interest in the growing interactive area. Louise looks after our Account Management and Interactive candidates and clients.

 

Annie McCulloch
Freelance Co-ordinator

Annie is originally from the beautiful Far North of New Zealand – she loves music, music and music!

After graduating from AUT in 2000, having gained a Diploma in Advertising, Annie began her career with an Auckland promotional, advertising and marketing company as their Marketing Assistant. After 4 successful years, it was time for a change. Annie came to Portfolio seeking assistance with her job search. Portfolio loved Annie’s personality and knew she would be the perfect person to look after our Freelance Co-ordination – and we are very happy to have her on-board.

Annie started with Portfolio in 2005 as our Freelance Co-ordinator and after a year decided to go on her OE, spending a year working in London and traveling Europe. Luckily for Portfolio she returned and is back in the freelance co-ordinator hot seat doing a fantastic job.

 

Sarah Adams
Consultant

Sarah is our Mac Operator consultant, she has spent 11 years in the advertising and design industry working for various studios and the last 2 years as a freelance Mac Op – so when you meet with Sarah you know you will be in very competent hands.

Sarah has lived in Auckland all her life.  She studied photography for 2 years at Unitech - on completion of her studies she walked into a Production Company, asked them how she should get a job in the industry – and was offered an apprenticeship on the spot.

When Sarah is not working she loves to spend time with her adorable little girls Pascale and Imogen and her husband.   Sarah loves to shop! She has a fetish for shoes, is mad about animals and enjoys long walks in the sun.

 

Kate Murdoch
Consultant

Kate Murdoch grew up on a lovely little farm in Waitakere, West Auckland. She is a creative person, who loves painting and has had several exhibitions held around Auckland.

Kate graduated from AUT in 2000 with a Bachelor of Graphic Design, spending her final year work experience at the NZ Listener, which then turned in to her first permanent job as a magazine designer. Over the next couple of years Kate continued to work in publishing, progressing to art director. For the past couple of years Kate has been a freelancer with Portfolio.

Sharon Darrah
Financial Controller

Sharon is in control of the purse strings for Portfolio.  She has enjoyed working in the accounting sector for several years, both here in New Zealand and the UK.

Whilst away from the office, Sharon is studying a Business degree and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children.  As a family they enjoy cycling and spending time at the beach.  Sharon’s aim is to sail around the world.
