Our market leading retail client is looking for a fantastic Studio Team Leader to oversee the overall Design Studio function of one of their National Studio teams. The team produces regular advertising material, circulars, newspaper advertisements, point of sale, bespoke ticketing, e-marketing, newsletters and anything else that pops up (and projects will pop up!)

This is very much a hands on role; so as well as being a star Team Leader who has experience managing studio processes you will be a talented designer who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. This is a great team to be a part of so like them you will have a great attitude and work ethic.

On the design side you will be whiz in:

- In Design
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

You will also have impeccable attention to detail and solid inter-personal skills; you will produce work that is of the highest standard and do it in friendly and engaging manner. In other words people will enjoy working with you and you’ll bring out the best in the people you oversee.

The first position is for a junior Mac operator; you will ideally already have at least 1 to 2 years commercial experience under your belt, preferably on retail clients but this is not essential. You will have completed some tertiary study and have a thorough understanding of the CS packages, including Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

The second role is for a superstar intermediate Mac operator with proven retail experience. You will ideally have a minimum of 3-4 years commercial experience working on retail clients along with the ability to work as part of a team.

And lastly they are looking for a crash hot senior Mac op with a vast experience working on retail advertising including catalogues, pos and press. So if you love the fast pace of advertising and you’re happy to juggle and be responsible for your own work and clients, then this could be a great job for you.

This is a fast paced environment and would suit people who thrive on getting great results while working to very fast and tight deadlines. You will be proactive and eager to learn and grow in these roles. You will also have a great attitude, personality and team fit is very important to our client. For each of these positions you will need to have a thorough understanding of the CS packages, including Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Pre press & dispatching to print knowledge is also required, and you need to have a great eye for detail and a lot of initiative.

Our client is a well established busy Auckland based retail agency, with an impressive client list. They are looking for a new senior print production / traffic manager to join their team and work on one of their large retail clients. 

This role will be responsible for co-ordinating all print briefs and materials from various departments, working closely with the creative and account management teams – ensuring timelines and deadlines are clearly communicated and adhered to.

You will be experienced scheduling and estimating jobs, and have excellent attention to detail.

Ideally you would have previous experience in a similar agency role and be used to a vary fast pace, or perhaps you come from the print company side but either way you will have an outgoing, confident and mature personality, with the ability to get on with a wide range of people.
